The talk range can reach about 8km (city is about 1-3km, suburbs about 2-5km, mountain about 2-5km and plain about 4-8km.). Under “VOX” function, transmission is activated automatically by detecting the voice and when speaking is finished, the transmission will automatically terminated and the transceiver will automatically receive signal rather than push the “PPT” button on the transceiver for transmission. And it includes CTCSS and DCS modes to keep the content safeguarded. Additionally, it considerately comes with alarm function and bright LED flashlight with stand-on mode and SOS strobe mode for emergencies.
